3rd FEM Paella Contest on La Rambla

Saturday, October 18th, participate in the third edition of the solidarity paella contest! You can participate by preparing the best paella or tasting the paellas (and voting for the best one) at an emblematic location, La Rambla de Santa Mónica!

The contest is organized by Friends of La Rambla and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation

Do you want to compete?

Register to prepare the best paella because we will have a luxury jury! Each team will consist of 1 or 2 people. At the time of registration, a donation of €30 will be required to compete. You will need to prepare a paella for 20 people that will leave them licking their fingers. You can bring some pre-prepared elements from home, but the final preparation will be done at La Rambla de Santa Mónica. When the paella is ready, the jury will choose the best one among all the participants. You can encourage family and friends and compete among yourselves to see who makes the best paella!

The organization will provide: Bayo rice, Gallina Blanca broth, OleAurum olive oil and vegetables.

They will also provide a 70 cm paella pan and the burner from Original Paella as well as the gas bottle.

If you believe your paella is the best in the world, now is your chance to prove it! On October 18th, the Friends of La Rambla de Barcelona and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation are organizing the third edition of the solidarity paella contest with MS! Registrations will close on 10/17 at 2 pm. We'll be waiting for you!

How can I taste the paellas?

You can buy a tasting ticket. It is a great option to enjoy a gastronomic and solidarity day.

For €15 you can taste the three paellas of your choice, a drink (beer, soft drink, or water), and a dessert. We'll be waiting for you on Saturday, October 18th, starting at 1:30 pm to taste the best solidarity paellas, and this year... WITH A NEW LOCATION! You will find us at La Rambla de Santa Mónica. Buy your ticket in advance to avoid queues. If you want to buy tickets in-person, you can do so on the day of the contest at the tent starting at 12 pm. We'll be waiting for you!

What can I win?

The most important thing is the recognition that your paella is spectacular.

In addition to chefs, people who want to taste the paellas can do so by buying tasting tickets. We will have 4 jury prizes and the audience prize!

The winners can receive prizes such as tickets to the Liceu, theater tickets, or meals at the best restaurants on La Rambla!
