"A movie mother" at the Teatre Romea

A comic and cinematic monologue about the adventure of being a mother.

Eva María, in the middle of the night, receives an urgent message from Alejandro, her only and beloved son: she must go into his room and search in a drawer locked with a padlock for a document he urgently needs for the American university where he studies. Urgent means "now, right away, without wasting a second, mom." Alejandro, who knows his mother very well, warns her not to give in to the human (and especially maternal) temptation to rummage through his things while she has the chance. Eva María promises to carry out her mission to the letter, but once immersed in the task… who can say they are free from sin? And the thing is, being quite the film buff, she knows very well that "The temptation lives upstairs" or at the bottom of her son's secret drawer.

The memories of her life and the sight of this provocative empty nest will lead Eva María to let herself be swept away by a spiral as exciting as it is funny, transforming her everyday life into a true cinematic adventure.
