April at the Tablao Flamenco Cordobés

· When? From 1 to April 30th. 2026
· Address: La Rambla, 35
· Organize: Tablao Flamenco Cordobés
Experiencing flamenco in Barcelona means much more than attending a show. It means witnessing a living art performed by artists who also appear each week at the main festivals and theatres in Spain.
In April, the stage of Tablao Flamenco Cordobes presents a programme split into two fortnights, bringing together established figures and young talents who are shaping the present of flamenco art.
Every night is different, because each artist brings their own personality, their school, and their unique way of feeling flamenco.
Featured artists — First fortnight
Karime Amaya
Karime Amaya, niece of the legendary Carmen Amaya, is one of the great figures of contemporary flamenco dance with a deeply international career. Awarded the Revelation Prize at the Festival de Jerez 2013, her career has taken her to stages around the world, establishing herself as an essential flamenco artist in Barcelona.
She has participated in multiple editions of the Albuquerque International Flamenco Festival (USA) and has had an intense activity in Japan, where she danced for six months at the renowned tablao El Flamenco, and later returned on tours through the country's main cities. Her trajectory also includes collaborations with figures such as Farruquito in the show Abolengo, with which she toured worldwide, and Joaquín Cortés in Dicen de mí.
Her training and experience in international companies, together with her own projects like Amaya Linaje or her participation in the Festival de Jerez, reflect a mature, elegant artist deeply connected to both the tradition and evolution of flamenco.
El Yiyo
Born in Badalona in 1996, El Yiyo is considered one of the great revelations of current flamenco dance. At only eleven years old he made his first international tour and, since then, his career has continued to rise, bringing him to international stages such as New York and Paris.
Despite his youth, he has headlined more than twenty productions and shared the stage with major names like Estrella Morente, Miguel Poveda, Farruquito or Eva Yerbabuena. His international projection and ability to connect with audiences make him one of the leading figures of flamenco in Barcelona.
His training is born of pure intuition and vocation, within a gypsy family, developing a style that is fresh, powerful, and profoundly racial, already compared by many to that of the great flamenco icons.
Paola Almodóvar
Paola Almodóvar has consolidated a recognized career both in Spain and abroad, backed by awards highlighting her talent and potential. These include First Prize Talent Flamenco Manolo Soler (2021), First Prize at the Flamenco Amateurs Contest of Guillena, and Second Prize at the Primavera Flamenca Competition of Torrevieja.
She has participated in festivals such as La Caña Flamenca, the Festival de la Bulería or Granada's FEX, sharing the stage with great artists of contemporary flamenco. Her training at the prestigious Fundación Cristina Heeren, together with a degree from the APDE Association and learning from masters such as Maite Galán, make her a dancer of great technical and artistic strength.
Her style combines precision, elegance, and strong stage sensitivity, bringing a contemporary vision to flamenco shows in Barcelona.
El Tete
Tete Fernández represents one of the most solid bets among young flamenco artists. Despite his youth, he has already been acknowledged on demanding stages such as Penya Flamenca Torres Macarena in Seville, where he showcased surprising artistic maturity.
His career includes participation in shows such as Flamenco de sangre or Jubileo, as well as collaborations with figures such as the guitarist Tomatito. His presence in these productions and venues consolidates his growth within the professional circuit.
Since childhood, he has been in contact with prominent references such as Joaquín Cortés, Farruquito, José Maya, or his brother El Yiyo- influences reflected in an elegant, technical, and highly emotional dance that connects with flamenco audiences in Barcelona.
Zaira Prudencio
The year 2023 was a turning point in her career as she won first prize in two tablao competitions in Madrid: the Centro Flamenco Cultural and the tablao Las Carboneras. This recognition positions her as one of the most promising emerging artists.
Her evolution within the professional circuit and presence on specialised stages consolidate her growth, bringing freshness and authenticity to the current flamenco scene in Barcelona.
Susana Escoda
Susana Escoda has a consolidated track record in tablaos and flamenco shows, developed both in Spain and on international stages. Her training in specialised academies and her stage experience bring solidity and elegance to every performance, making her a regular presence on the professional circuit.
Featured artists — Second fortnight
Raquel La Repompilla
Raquel Heredia Reyes, known artistically as La Repompilla, belongs to one of the most renowned flamenco lineages of Málaga, daughter of Rafaela "La Repompa" and the guitarist Luis Heredia. Her career began very young in New York, where she danced with Juan Andrés Maya's company, thus beginning an international journey from her early days.
She has shared the stage with artists such as Manuel Liñán, Amador Rojas, or El Choro, and has taken part in outstanding productions such as Biznagas, produced by the Andalusian Flamenco Agency, which toured several cities with great success. Her style reflects the purity and strength of her heritage, bringing authenticity to the flamenco of Barcelona.
Karime Amaya
In this second fortnight, Karime reaffirms her presence as one of the great names on the programme, consolidating her position within the flamenco scene in Barcelona, thanks to an international career and artistic recognition that place her among the most prominent dancers today.
Pedro Córdoba
Pedro Córdoba, born in Sabadell, has a solid dance training that includes classical ballet, escuela bolera, Spanish dance, contemporary, and flamenco. A graduate of the Institut del Teatre, he has developed a top-level professional career.
He was part of Eva Yerbabuena's company for four years and has worked with figures such as Javier Barón, Joaquín Grilo, or Javier Latorre. With his own company, he has premiered shows at international festivals such as Albuquerque, consolidating his reputation outside Spain.
His technique, versatility, and stage experience make him a key figure in flamenco in Barcelona.
Noemí Ferrer
Noemí Ferrer has built her career on ongoing training and participation in flamenco shows both in Spain and abroad. Her presence in tablaos and artistic development bring freshness and precision to every performance, consolidating her place in today's scene.
An unrepeatable experience
Flamenco is improvisation, dialogue, and real emotion. That's why no show is ever the same. Every night, the interplay between dance, singing, and guitar creates a unique moment that can only be experienced live.
If you're seeking authentic flamenco in Barcelona, Tablao Flamenco Cordobes offers the opportunity to see top-level artists just metres from the stage, in an intimate atmosphere where art is lived without filters.
