Pianist, organist, singer, composer, lyricist, former travel companion of Steve Miller; collaborator with artists such as Eric Clapton, Charlie Watts, and the Rolling Stones; a living legend of popular music in our time. His name: Ben Sidran, a musician who has worked in jazz, blues, and rock, whether as a session musician or as a producer of albums by Van Morrison, Georgie Fame, and Rickie Lee Jones, among others. Solo, he has also had a brilliant career, with over 50 years of experience and 35 albums that have left their mark on generations of music lovers. Sidran performed at the Jamboree for the first time in 1999, that is, over 25 years ago; a quarter-century landing in the basement of Plaça Reial and gifting unforgettable nights to fans; «There are artists whose very existence justifies a deep study of Shakespeare's language: Dylan, of course, Nobel on his shoulders, but also Ray Davies, Stuart Murdoch, Donald Fagen, Joni Mitchell, Morrissey, and many more. On this list, without a doubt, should also be the pianist, singer, composer, producer, writer, and music critic Ben Sidran, an admirable and surprising man». Words of the journalist Fernando Neira in the highly recommended series ‘Un disco al día’, and which we fully endorse.
