The Foundation for the Support of the Maritime Museum and Royal Shipyards of Barcelona has the mission of helping the Maritime Museum and the Shipyards Consortium achieve their objectives of preserving and promoting Catalan maritime heritage.
The activities of the Museum and the Foundation serve to explain the relationship between a territory and its people with the sea. That is why we have decided to organize this event, aimed at showing how the sea is represented in Catalan literature and how it reflects the relationship that the Catalan people have maintained with the sea.
For this reason, we wanted to invite specialists in literature and authors, but also historians and people linked to the world of culture, to participate in this event in order to better clarify the context.
