This Christmas, La Calòrica's Le congrès ne marche pas returns to the Teatre Poliorama, one of last season's most successful shows.

Minister Metternich knows that revolutions must be stopped before they begin. That's why he has invited the leaders of Russia, England, and Prussia to spend a few days in Vienna. He hardly imagines that the celebration of the congress will attract the curiosity of every government in the world, and that what was supposed to be a simple meeting will turn into the party of the century. It isn't easy to separate territorial negotiations from romantic entanglements, ideological debates from mere ego clashes… It's hard to know when we are celebrating and when we are working. Meanwhile, the return of an old enemy makes us think, for just a moment, that maybe things could be different. 

A play about the Congress of Vienna, the end of the Ancien Régime, and our capitalist society celebrating itself on the brink of collapse. A grand, frivolous, and above all, fiercely political comedy.

The show is performed in French, English, Russian, and Spanish (with Catalan subtitles) and has a duration of 90 minutes.
