Civil War Route with Aureli Vázquez at Fnac Rambles

On February 28th at 11 a.m., at FNAC Rambles, there will be a Civil War tour guided by writer Aureli Vázquez, author of La mujer del miliciano and a specialist in Civil War-era Barcelona.

The activity will consist of a walking tour of various points along La Rambla and some streets in the Raval, with the aim of explaining the role these spaces played during the years 1936 and 1937. The session will begin at Fnac Rambles, where Aureli will give a general introduction to the historical context and the main themes of his novel. Next, the tour will follow a selection of buildings and sites that during that period served as headquarters for political parties, accommodations for international militiamen, communication centers such as Telefónica, or typical establishments of the time. The author will explain the specific function of each space and the documented episodes that took place there.

Once the tour ends, the group will return to Fnac, where Aureli will present his conclusions and meet with anyone interested in discussing the book or requesting a signature.
