From Tuesday to Saturday, the exhibition "Engineers, Soldiers and Scholars" can be visited free of charge at the Military Government of Barcelona. The exhibition addresses the history and role of the army in Catalonia, highlighting its contributions to engineering and science.
The displayed pieces and audiovisual resources highlight how Barcelona became, in the 18th century, the center of scientific and technological development in Spain with the creation of the Royal and Military College of Surgery and the Royal and Military Academy of Mathematics.
In the second room, the tools used by the corps of engineers and their work are displayed.
Admission is free.
