From Tuesday to Saturday you can visit the exhibition "Engineers, Soldiers, and Wise Men" at the Military Government of Barcelona free of charge. The exhibition addresses the history and role of the army in Catalonia, highlighting its contributions to engineering and science.
The collected pieces and audiovisual resources highlight how Barcelona became, in the 18th century, a center of scientific and technological development in Spain with the creation of the Real y Militar Colegio de Cirugía and the Real y Militar Academia de Matemáticas.
In the second room, the tools of the engineering corps and their work are exhibited.
Admission is free.
