Exhibition at the Sala Parés: "Gallery Painters 1877 - 1950"

This exhibition is part of an initiative that Sala Parés revived in 2017 on the occasion of its 140^th anniversary and which is framed within the concept of 'MEMORY'. This was created with the aim of highlighting the origins of the gallery and the historic artists who have been associated with it, reclaiming them and/or making them known, as well as studying them through research and exhibition projects that serve to illustrate different episodes from its history and, in general, from the history of art.

On this occasion, the chronological spectrum starts from the founding date of Sala Parés as an art gallery (1877) and extends until 1950. The exhibition is made up of a selection of works for sale from both the gallery's collection and important private collections.
