Exhibition on the 1936 People's Olympiad at the UGT of La Rambla

UGT, the Democratic Memorial (Department of Justice and Democratic Quality) and the Department of Sports present the exhibition Barcelona 1936. The Olympics That Never Were. 90th Anniversary.
The exhibition will be installed in the lobby of the building. It will include notable elements such as a reproduction of an information booth for the People's Olympiad and, on the facade, the installation of life-size advertising canvases that, with minor variations, reproduce those that were put up in 1936.
The initiative highlights the relationship between democratic memory, sports practice, and social mobilization, and recovers a key episode in Barcelona's contemporary history.
