Festivals

From February 12 to 15, Barcelona once again celebrates its grand winter festival, a family-friendly and participatory celebration that fills the streets with popular culture. During these days, the city becomes a vast shared stage where tradition and celebration are experienced together.

The Festes de Santa Eulàlia once again focus on popular and traditional culture, with a very special spotlight on the young generation of children and youth who take to the streets to showcase the strength, diversity, and future of the festive expressions that coexist in Barcelona. The children and youths are the true protagonists of a festival designed to be enjoyed as a family.

This year we commemorate the 425th anniversary of the Gegants del Pi, we will once again be moved by beloved events such as the Protocols de l'Àliga, and we can enjoy, once again, the concert in collaboration with Tradicionàrius, headlined by La Coixinera. Moreover, we will be able to see the giantesses exhibited at the Palau de la Virreina and the Bestiary and Child Giants at the Born CCM. And finally, in 2026, the calendar brings together two events-Carnival and Santa Eulàlia-on the same dates, and we will celebrate with an event that combines the Santa Eulàlia dance, the Carnival dance of the Rodanxó and the Rodanxona, and the Taronjada!

On Thursday, February 12, with the exit of the Laies, the celebrations in honor of the patron saint will begin. Giants and giantesses, bestiary, human towers and falcons, devils and folk dancing groups… Everything is ready for popular culture to once again fill Barcelona's streets with joy, music, and tradition.
The Festes de Santa Eulàlia are here-enjoy them!

You will find the program attached.
