Flute Fest 2026 at the Conservatori del Liceu

The Fundació Conservatori Liceu presents the Flute Fest 2026, a festival entirely dedicated to the flute, created with the aim of becoming a reference space for performance, specialized training, and technical knowledge of this instrument.

From May 22 to 24, the Liceu Higher Conservatory of Music will be an international meeting point, bringing together renowned performers, students, and the general public in a dynamic format that will include concerts, master classes, and technical workshops.

Throughout the event, open masterclasses will be held for both active students and auditors, promoting cross-disciplinary and accessible learning, as well as instrument-making workshops taught by Pere Alcón and Cristian Sanmartín, which will allow participants to delve into the mechanical and acoustic dimensions of the flute.

In addition, the festival will offer two joint concerts by guest flautists, Paolo Taballioni and Jacques Zoon (on May 23rd at 7 pm) and Pirmin Grehl and Gaspar Hoyos (on May 24th at 7 pm), conceived as spaces for artistic dialogue and interpretive diversity.

The Flute Fest is supported by the brand Powell Flutes, which brings an added perspective of technological innovation and connection with the professional sector.

Registration for the Flute Fest is open and offers two types of passes: for active participants (bachelor's and master's students) or auditor participants (basic, professional students and the general public).
