+ Culture + Quality + Diversity + Innovation

The completion of the renovation of La Rambla, scheduled for February next year, is much more than a facelift. It marks a milestone in the city's history and a unique opportunity to showcase, to the citizens of Barcelona and to the rest of the world, everything that La Rambla offers today and all it can become in the coming years.

In this first edition of the Forum of the La Rambla Observatory, we invite you to (re)discover the wide and diverse cultural offering of La Rambla-which attracts tens of thousands of Barcelona residents every year-and to let yourself be surprised and inspired by all that is yet to come.

New projects and unique initiatives will undoubtedly strengthen this universal promenade as the city's main cultural hub.

We also want to share with you the projects and efforts that, within a public-private collaboration framework, must make it possible for La Rambla-the main window that Barcelona opens to the world-to once again be fully a part of the city's public space.

A space where tourist activity is integrated into a model of coexistence compatible with daily life, strolling, culture, and civic use; where the most iconic places, establishments, and businesses become, through their products, services, and experiences, more attractive and welcoming for those living in Barcelona; and where, through a leading digital presence, we can share (it will be an active, not unidirectional process) and project to the rest of the world the La Rambla we want.
