Jota Pê al Jamboree

Just one month after the release of his second album in March 2024, Se Meu Peito Fosse O Mundo (If My Chest Was the World), with the participation of Xênia França and Gilsons, Jota.pê achieved a record of more than 2.5 million plays on Spotify. Recorded and created in collaboration with Som Livre, the album was produced by Felipe Vassão, Rodrigo Lemos and Marcus Preto.

The album received three nominations at this year's Latin Grammy Awards and won in three categories: Best Brazilian Popular Music/Afro-Brazilian Music Album, Best Recording Engineering, and Best Portuguese Song for Ouro Marrom. In addition, Jota.pê competed at the 2024 Multishow Awards with four nominations: Album of the Year, Breakthrough Artist, and two nominations in the MPB of the Year category for the songs Ouro Marrom and Feito Maré (with Gilsons). Currently, he performs a new version of Carinhoso in the soap opera A Garota do Momento.

Influenced by artists from Jorge Ben to Caetano Veloso, passing through Chico Science's manguebeat, the artist born in Osasco released his first work in 2015: the album Cr?'nicas de um Sonhador (Chronicles of a Dreamer). As a soloist, he had a prominent participation on TV Globo's The Voice Brazil, where he was considered by Lulu Santos as one of the best voices of all seasons of the show. The following year, after several performances in Brazil, he embarked on his first European tour, selling out all tickets to his concerts. To date, he has completed three tours in Europe.

In addition to his solo career, Jota.pê is the vocalist, composer, and guitarist of the duo &ÀVUÊ, where he shares the stage with his friend Bruna Black. This collaboration earned them a nomination at the 2021 Latin Grammy for their album Onze, in which great artists such as Elza Soares and Zeca Baleiro participated. That same year, the duo was invited to join ColorsxStudios, one of the most important music channels in the world.
