Liceu Gran Ensemble to the Liceu Conservatory

Within the Liceu Jazz Cycle, the Live Room Conservatori Liceu hosts each Wednesday the concerts of the large ensembles from the Jazz and Modern Music Department of the Liceu Superior Music Conservatory.

In this concert, the protagonist will be the Liceu Big Ensemble, an innovative formation that breaks any barrier between musical styles and genres.

The project arises from the collaboration between the Jazz and Modern Music Departments and the Orchestral Instruments Departments. The Big Band formation mixes in an unusual way with the string section, through an experimental repertoire that takes the audience to a special atmosphere guided by its director, Toni Vaquer.
