"Liceu symphonic" at Sant Sebastià beach

The concert, free and open to all citizens, will take place on July 8 at 9:00 p.m. on Sant Sebastià beach.

The Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, conducted by Josep Pons, will present Liceu Simfònic, music for everyone, featuring some of the most emblematic symphonic works from the universal repertoire, as part of the 25th anniversary of the Petit Liceu and Josep Pons's farewell as musical director of the Liceu this season.

This year, the commitment to accessibility is reaffirmed by providing the public with vibrating backpacks and individual induction loops for deaf people or those with hearing disabilities.
The city's three main musical venues are coming together, through Barcelona Obertura, to bring classical music closer to the city in an initiative supported by the Barcelona City Council and the "la Caixa" Foundation, with the collaboration of the Port of Barcelona, which provides the space on the beach.
