Literary tasting with Carla Gracia at Fnac Rambles

Come and share an afternoon of literature and wine with us: We will discuss El jardí adormit with Carla Gracia, who will come in person to talk with the audience and answer questions. On Monday, May 11 at 7 p.m., at the Fnac Rambles Forum. We will make a toast with wines from Las Moradas de San Martín: organic, vegan, and with DOP Vinos de Madrid.

Iris lives in London, works at a major financial institution, and seems to have everything under control until her life falls apart: her fiancé's betrayal and an irreparable loss she has carried since childhood leave her adrift. Then, an unusual ad catches her attention: someone is wanted to take care of a garden at an estate in Empordà. The phrase "cheerful people need not apply" brings a bitter smile to her lips. For the first time, she feels that she fits in somewhere. As she brings the sleeping garden back to life, Iris discovers she can also revive the house where she finds herself: uncover silent secrets, reconcile memories, and free those who remain trapped there. Marc, the enigmatic resident of the estate, is one of these shadows: a wounded man, marked by tragedy, who holds the key to the truth within himself. A story about a woman's awakening that draws us into the fascinating world of the language of flowers and their symbolic power.
