The Fira Nova d'Artesania, located in Rambla Santa Mònica, presents an extensive craft offer spread over more than 60 stalls: jewelry and costume jewelry, clothing, t-shirts, canvas bags, toys and small wooden objects, accessories, ceramics...
The Fira Nova d'Artesania was born in 1977. At that time, those who made earrings with feathers or clothing with Batik were not considered artisans. That's why they decided to name the fair they had just created new craftsmanship. Since 1992 it has been considered a traditional fair by the Barcelona City Council.
They have been around for more than 30 years, but even now, although we consider those who make wooden toys or earrings with recycled objects as artisans, many people from Barcelona still know them as the hippie fair.
The Fira Nova d'Artesania is a good place to find an original gift or simply one more reason to stroll along the Rambla.
