(Re) Discover La Rambla. From La Rambla to the America's Cup, history of the Port Vell of Barcelona (Catalan)

On Saturday, October 17 at 11 am we invite you to the route "From La Rambla to the America's Cup, history of Barcelona's Port Vell."

Barcelona cannot be understood without its position on the shores of the Mediterranean. The Romans already used the natural port of the foundational Barcino, and since then different cultures have taken advantage of the proximity to the sea. Since the Middle Ages, a port close to the city has been built, which has changed in uses and users. We will start from La Rambla, the stream that brought fresh water to the sea when it rained heavily, and we will rediscover the Drassanes, the customs house, the Port Vell, the Maremagnum, the Palau de Mar... the ideal visit to do when the heat arrives, and you crave the scent of the sea breeze.
