On Thursday, October 15th at 10:30 a.m. we invite you to the route "La Mercè: the first 'seaside neighbourhood' of Barcelona"
Palaces, convents, horse races, murdered nobles, millers, military institutions, artists, vanished houses, and relocated buildings… all this in a small neighbourhood, La Mercè, structured along a single street, which in the past played the same role that La Rambla does now. Starting at the church that gives it its name, and ending at the edge of the neighbourhood, at the post office building.
