On Wednesday, October 21st at 5:00 pm, we invite you to the tour "La Rambla, Cradle of Barcelona's Politics."
When we think of politics, we imagine parliaments, palaces, or grand offices. But for more than two centuries, many of the decisions that shaped the history of Barcelona, Catalonia, and Spain were also forged in everyday spaces along La Rambla: theaters, cafés, hotels, party and union headquarters... and even balconies!
On this visit, we will uncover a story that is often invisible: where political organizations were founded, where their leaders met, where memorable speeches were delivered, where crucial decisions were made, or where some of their protagonists were arrested, persecuted, or honored.
