The most popular street in Barcelona has been the scene of historic episodes that explain the city's evolution. Some of its main characters are closely linked to this famous avenue. We will walk along the route, paying attention to a set of elements that often go unnoticed: fountains, plaques, and sculptures. What memories are there of the businessman and Barça president Josep Suñol? And of the Venezuelan writer Rómulo Gallegos? Or of the first institution created to attract tourists? Not to mention actors, mayors, patron saints, or Modernist decorations. The secret of La Rambla is indeed in the details.
