Tuesday, March 17 at 11:30 am we invite you to the tour "La Mercè: The First Seaside Neighborhood of Barcelona".

Palaces, convents, horse races, murdered nobles, millers, military institutions, artists, vanished houses, and relocated buildings… all of this in a small neighborhood, La Mercè, organized along a single street, which long ago played the same role that La Rambla does today. Starting at the church that gives the neighborhood its name and ending at the edge of the neighborhood, at the post office building.

Tour led by María Jesús Navarro (from the CultRuta team)

Tour language: Spanish

Meeting point: Barcelona Wax Museum

Limited spots. Prior registration required.

The tours (Re)Discover La Rambla are part of the project "La Rambla, a New Model of Urban Tourism" with which Amics de La Rambla invites you to stroll along the Rambla. The project is supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona City Council, and GetYourGuide.
