On Friday, March 13 at 5 p.m. we invite you to the route "La Rambla and Barça".

This route offers a fascinating journey through the deep-and often unknown-ties that connect La Rambla with the origins of Futbol Club Barcelona. A walk full of history, curiosities, and mysteries that reveals how this iconic urban space was both a setting and driving force behind the birth of blaugrana passion.

Throughout the route, we will discover the gym where the foundations of the first Barça were laid; learn about the surprising figure of Valdés, a tobacco seller and "lottery man" from La Rambla who was part of the first team; and delve into the enigmatic mystery of the lottery safe and its unexpected connection with the Club. We will also explain the origins of the mythical bond between the Font de Canaletes and Barça supporters, as well as the key role played by La Rambla's press in allowing fans to follow matches almost in real time and celebrate Barça's victories on the streets.

A surprising and rigorous route about the origins of Barça and the intense emotional connection that has linked La Rambla with blaugrana supporters for more than a century.
