PLACES EXHAURIDES!

On Friday, March 20 at 5 p.m. we invite you to the "La Rambla and Barça" Route.

This route offers a fascinating journey through the deep-and often unknown-ties that connect La Rambla with the origins of Futbol Club Barcelona. A walk full of history, curiosities, and mysteries that reveals how this emblematic urban space was both the stage and driving force for the birth of the blaugrana passion.

Along the route, we will discover the gym where the foundations of the first Barça were laid; meet the surprising figure of Valdés, a tobacco vendor and "lottery man" of La Rambla who was part of the first team; and delve into the enigmatic mystery of the lottery safe and its unexpected connection to the Club. We will also explain the origin of the legendary link between the Canaletes Fountain and Barça supporters, as well as the key role played by the Rambla press in allowing fans to follow matches almost in real time and celebrate Barça's victories in the street.

A rigorous and surprising route about the origins of Barça and the deep emotional bond that has, for over a century, united La Rambla with the blaugrana fans.

Route led by the Cercle Català d'Història (Catalan History Circle).
