(Re)Discover La Rambla. La Rambla and Barça (Catalan)

On Tuesday, October 27 at 10 a.m. we invite you to the "La Rambla and Barça" Route.

This route offers a fascinating journey through the deep-and often unknown-connections that link La Rambla with the origins of Futbol Club Barcelona. A walk full of history, curiosities, and mysteries that reveals how this emblematic urban space was both the stage and the driving force behind the birth of Barça passion.

Along the route, we will discover the gym where the foundations of the first Barça were laid; get to know the surprising figure of Valdés, a tobacco seller and lottery ticket vendor on La Rambla who was part of the first team; and delve into the enigmatic mystery of the lottery's safe and its unexpected relationship with the Club. We will also explain the origin of the mythical bond between the Canaletes Fountain and Barça fans, as well as the key role played by the press on La Rambla in allowing supporters to follow the matches almost in real time and celebrate Barça's victories on the street.

A surprising and rigorous route about Barça's origins and the intense emotional relationship that has linked La Rambla to Barça supporters for over a century.
