On Saturday, April 4 at 11 a.m., we invite you to the "La Rambla and Barça" Route.

This route offers a fascinating journey through the deep-and often unknown-connections that unite La Rambla with the origins of Futbol Club Barcelona. A walk full of history, curiosities, and mysteries revealing how this iconic urban space was both the stage and the driving force behind the birth of the blaugrana passion.

Throughout the route, we will discover the gym where the foundations of the first Barça were laid; get to know the surprising figure of Valdés, tobacconist and "lottery ticket vendor" on La Rambla who was part of the first team; and delve into the enigmatic mystery of the lottery safe and its unexpected connection with the Club. We will also explain the origin of the mythical bond between the Canaletes Fountain and Barça fans, as well as the key role played by the La Rambla press in enabling supporters to follow matches almost in real time and celebrate Barça victories in the street.

An astonishing and rigorous route about the origins of Barça and the intense emotional relationship that has united La Rambla and the blaugrana supporters for over a century.
