(Re)discover La Rambla. La Rambla and Barça (Spanish)

On Friday, June 26 at 10 a.m., we invite you to the "La Rambla and Barça" Tour.

This tour offers a fascinating journey through the deep-and often unknown-connections that unite La Rambla with the origins of Futbol Club Barcelona. A walk filled with history, curiosities, and mysteries that reveals how this emblematic urban space was both the stage and the engine for the birth of the blaugrana passion.

Throughout the tour we will discover the gym where the foundations of the first Barça were laid; meet the surprising figure of Valdés, a tobacco seller and "lottery man" of La Rambla who was part of the first team; and delve into the enigmatic mystery of the lottery's safe and its unexpected connection to the Club. We will also explain the origin of the mythical link between the Canaletes Fountain and the Barça fans, as well as the key role played by La Rambla's press in allowing supporters to follow the matches almost in real time and celebrate Barça's victories in the street.

An amazing and rigorous tour about the origins of Barça and the intense emotional bond that has united La Rambla and the blaugrana fans for more than a century.
