On Friday, June 26 at 10:30 a.m., we invite you to the Route “The Flower Sellers of La Rambla”
We want to pay tribute to one of the most deeply rooted and beloved professions on our street: the flower sellers. A monographic itinerary where we will talk about women who, with their perseverance, brought color and fragrance to this stretch of La Rambla. A passion for flowers, and an engaging rapport with the public, which captivated writers such as Sagarra and Lorca or the scientist Alexander Fleming. It is not surprising, then, that the famous poet from Granada kept such a fond memory of them: “Women with frank laughter and wet hands, where from time to time the tiny ruby caused by the thorn trembles”.
