Sunday, October 5 at 10:30 a.m.

In the centenary of the death of the poet Joan Salvat-Papasseit (1894-1924), we propose a literary route to learn about the self-taught training and social struggle years, the beginnings as a writer, and the most combative stage in the Barcelona of the Rosa de Foc. The Popular Encyclopedic Athenaeum, the editorial office of Los Miserables at the Centro Bar, the old book market of Santa Madrona, and other places of popular Barcelona in a time of social unrest will be the main points. This year, and after the success of last year, we repeat this route.

Meeting point: Rambla dels Estudis / carrer del Carme (in front of the church of Betlem)

End: Moll de la Fusta, monument to the poet Joan Salvat-Papasseit.

Duration: 2h, approx.

Limited capacity. Prior registration required on the Amics de La Rambla website.
