Palaces, convents, horse races, murdered nobles, millers, military institutions, artists, vanished houses and relocated buildings… all of this in a small neighborhood, La Mercè, built along a single street, which in the past played the same role that La Rambla does today. Starting at the church that gives it its name, and ending at the edge of the neighborhood, at the post office building.
