La Rambla is the promenade par excellence of Barcelona. It is beautiful, central, leads you to the sea... but above all it's the promenade where everyone meets. The street where all kinds of people from Barcelona and foreigners mingle. Territory for everyone, also for photographers, La Rambla has been the viewpoint to look out onto to see and show society at that time.
We propose to go through it following a century and a half of photographic footprints, emulating the masters of this profession who have left us a way of looking at it. Together we will analyze the photographs, their technical, aesthetic and narrative aspects. We will contextualize them within their time to compare them to the present moment and we will look for ways to reproduce them today.
