La Rambla is the promenade par excellence of Barcelona. It is beautiful, it is central, it leads you to the sea... but above all, it is the promenade where everyone meets. The street where locals of all kinds and foreigners mix. Territory for everyone, including photographers, La Rambla has been the viewpoint to look at and show the society of the moment.

We propose to walk along it following a century and a half of photographic footprints, emulating the masters of this profession who have left us a way to look at it. Together we will analyze the photographs, their technical, aesthetic, and narrative aspects. We will contextualize them in their time to compare them to the present moment and we will look for ways to reproduce them today.
