Acts

If you enjoy having stories told to you, this is for you! From February 28 to March 22, 6 Catalan museums invite you to the "Little Stories, Great Women" series, where you can discover the lives of noteworthy women in culture, science, sports, and the arts through dramatized biographies.

In this edition, the Maritime Museum of Barcelona presents Miriam Artacho, captain of the Mini One ship, a twelve-meter-long vessel from Arenys de Mar. She is considered the only active female ship captain and collaborates in the sea cleaning program 'Upcycling the oceans' by the Ecoalf Foundation and Ecoembes.

In this way, we want to highlight her commitment to cleaning the marine environment and the problem our seas and oceans face regarding plastic waste, as well as her strength to face the sea every day.
