Inspired by the floral garlands that Francesc Pla, "el Vigatà", painted on the interiors of Palau Moja, participants will discover how an 18th-century decorative motif can be reinterpreted today through the use of fresh flowers.
This is a participatory floral composition workshop in which, guided by the team of florists responsible for the floral intervention in the courtyard of Palau Moja during the Roser festivities, participants will learn how to create a centerpiece inspired by the colors, shapes, and ornamental universe of Vigatà's paintings.
The centerpieces created during the workshop will become part of the floral decoration in the courtyard of Palau Moja and will remain there during the Festa del Roser. In this way, participants will not only learn the process of creating a floral arrangement, but will also contribute actively to the intervention that will adorn the courtyard of the palace.
At the end, each participant will take home a small floral keepsake from the activity.
An experience to get closer to heritage in a different way: to move from painting to flowers and participate in bringing the garlands of Palau Moja to life.
