Friends of La Rambla and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation are organizing the fourth edition of their charity paella contest to raise awareness among the population about multiple sclerosis

This year, the Contest is one of the main events of the Gothic Quarter Festival

On Saturday, May 16, the fourth edition of the charity gastronomic contest 'Let's Make Paellas on La Rambla', organized by the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and the Friends of La Rambla association, will take place. This initiative aims to give visibility to and raise social awareness about multiple sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease affecting 12,000 people in Catalonia for which there is still no cure.

The contest will begin at 12 noon at La Rambla Santa Mònica, and will be sponsored by Oleaurum and Repsol. Once again, the jury will be made up of renowned professionals who will give advice to participants to make their paellas irresistible.

This year, "Let's Make Paellas on La Rambla" is one of the activities of the Gothic Quarter Festival and wants to encourage everyone to taste the contestants' paellas at an affordable price.

The funds raised will be used to enhance neurorehabilitation and support services, as well as to boost scientific research, with the goal of improving the quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis and slowing the progression of the disease.

Come to La Rambla to make or eat paellas. There will be music, entertainment, good vibes, and solidarity. We're waiting for you!
