Amics de La Rambla awards the Ramblista d'Honor 2025 to the Pastisseria La Estrella, the fruiter of the Mercat de la Boqueria, Eduard Soley, and the actor Joan Pera

The association Amics de La Rambla, which has been awarding the Ramblista d'Honor award since 1961, has awarded the award this year to the bakery La Estrella; to the fruit vendor at the Boqueria Market, Eduard Soley; and to the Catalan actor Joan Pera, at an event that, like every year, was held at the Saló de Cent of the Barcelona City Council and as the closing event of the La Rambla Major Festival - Festa del Roser 2025.

The Ramblista d'Honor 2025

The Jury of the Ramblista d'Honor awards has decided to award this year to the bakery La Estrella the 2025 Ramblista d'Honor award in recognition of its long history rescued and enhanced by a young project that recovers, for the neighborhood and the city, an emblematic business with renewed strength.

Similarly, the Jury has decided to award him the 2025 Ramblista d'Honor award in recognition of his professional career linked to the Boqueria Market and his work in promoting market culture and fresh, quality, and proximity products, to the fruit vendor Eduard Soley, of whom the jury wanted to highlight his loyalty to the values and professionalism of an authentic market stallholder.

The Jury of the Ramblista d'Honor awards 2025 has also awarded the Ramblista d'Honor award in gratitude for a lifetime dedicated to acting in a humorous tone and for lending his voice to many of the audiovisual idols of different generations, to the Catalan actor Joan Pera.

The award ceremony was held at the Saló de Cent of the Barcelona City Council, in an event presided over by the Mayor of Barcelona, Mr. Jaume Collboni, a representation of the municipal government, and by the President of the association Amics de La Rambla, Àlex Balletbó. The event was attended by the presence and introduction to the awards by the director of the theater company, Comediants, Joan Font.

The jury that selected this year's Ramblistes d'Honor is composed of Eva Arderius, Esteve Crespo, Jordi Fernández, Gemma Garrido, Georgina Ferri, Joan Oliveras, Ana Pantaleoni, Ramon Pellicer, Sergi Saborit, Àlex Sàlmon, Adrià Serra, Roser Tiana, Fermín Villar, and the president of Amics de La Rambla, Àlex Balletbó.
