Friends of La Rambla organize a series of activities to invite everyone to enjoy Christmas on La Rambla. These are the planned activities:

(RE)DISCOVER LA RAMBLA. From December 3, 2025, to January 3, 2026

The routes to (Re) discover La Rambla are already underway. With the places exhausted, the routes are an opportunity to rediscover La Rambla.

With the project "La Rambla, a new model of urban tourism", we want a new story for La Rambla. We want to showcase everything La Rambla has to offer: culture, history, heritage... or the Boqueria Market.

RAMBLING. Saturday, December 13

On December 13, Friends of La Rambla organize a new edition of "Rambling", a playful proposal to play on La Rambla with your mobile phones.

There will be three new routes with which to rediscover La Rambla in a fun way.

Participants will be able to choose their route and play it to win the hidden prizes.

The three routes will be online once the Rambling is over and will be added to the 2024 edition of the Rambling. To participate, you only need a mobile device.

CHRISTMAS ON LA RAMBLA

 Friends of La Rambla organize a Christmas concert and a popular hot chocolate party to invite everyone to enjoy Christmas on La Rambla.

On December 19, Friends of La Rambla will celebrate their traditional Christmas concert and popular hot chocolate party.

At 6 pm, the Raval's Band and the choirs Smiling and Sons de Veus will walk down La Rambla to La Rambla Santa Mònica, filling their route with music. The concert will continue when they reach the stage located at La Rambla Santa Mònica.

And then, at 6:30 pm, next to the stage, we have prepared, with the collaboration of Xocolates Jolonch, Cafè de l'Òpera, Boqueria Market, Torrons Vicens, and Carrefour Market Rambla, a popular hot chocolate party.

Raval's Band

The Raval's Band is the music band of Raval. Created in 2006 by the Escola de Músics and JPC. The Escola de Músics and JPC is an educational center in the Raval neighborhood that has worked hand in hand with more than 5000 families, 50 entities, 25 educational centers, and the different administrations over the past twenty-five years to try to improve the Raval neighborhood, the District of Ciutat Vella, and Barcelona, through a very powerful tool and a universal language such as music.

Choirs Smiling and Sons de Veus

The choirs Smiling and Sons de Veus are the children's choirs of the Escola de Músics with children from 6 to 12 years old. Their repertoire is mainly pop and musicals and is directed by Yolanda Mallofré.

They have sung in places like the Palau de la Música, L'Auditori, Petit Palau, a concert at the Liceu with Ramon Mirabet, on TV3 in "Nits de nits", and at the "Premis El Temps de les Arts" under the direction of Lluís Danés.

BRING YOUR GRANDPARENTS TO LA RAMBLA

Family Day

Monday 22 and Tuesday December 23

Friends of La Rambla, with the collaboration of the Barcelona Wax Museum, Barcelona Aquarium, Las Golondrinas, and GetYourGuide, organize a family day for grandparents, grandmothers, grandchildren, and granddaughters to reconnect with the family attractions of La Rambla. Tickets for Las Golondrinas, Wax Museum, and the Aquarium are free and must be reserved on the Friends of La Rambla website

PARADE AND HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY OF L'HOME DELS NASSOS

December 31, 2025

On December 31, the L'Home dels Nassos of Barcelona takes to the streets, accompanied by all the animals from the Noah's Ark.

At 11, he leaves Casa dels Entremesos and takes a stroll through the streets of Ciutat Vella.

In Plaça del Teatre, around 11:30 am, L'Home dels Nassos and the Noah's Ark Association will offer hot chocolate for everyone. L'Home dels Nassos' hot chocolate party has the support of Friends of La Rambla.

Once comforted with hot chocolate, L'Home dels Nassos will head to Plaça de Sant Jaume. There he will be welcomed by the authorities at the Generalitat and the City Council, giving them the key to open the new year.
