Christmas workshops "Les Flors, on La Rambla"

On Monday, November 10, Friends of La Rambla organized two Christmas decoration workshops at the Boqueria Space provided by the Market.

The workshops were conducted by Lydia, Joan, and Ariane from the Guild of Florists of Catalonia.

The morning workshop was exclusive for merchants associated with Friends of La Rambla and market stallholders, and focused on creating Christmas decorations to decorate the premises.

The afternoon session, open to the public by prior reservation, consisted of creating a Christmas centerpiece to decorate the tables of the participants.

Friends of La Rambla, with the complicity of the Guild of Florists of Catalonia and the Boqueria Market and the support of the Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia, organize the workshops "The flowers, at La Rambla" with the intention of promoting and defending the flower stalls on La Rambla and the tradition of flower sales on our promenade.

The project includes workshops, floristry courses, a route that explains the history of florists and their relationship with culture, activities at La Rambla's Festivities - Rose Festival, and other activities that can help strengthen the bond between the citizens of Barcelona and the tradition of flowers on La Rambla.
