Online routes also available

There are also three online routes available that can be done with the help of a mobile device: The facades of La Rambla, La Rambla of the cinema, and Characters of La Rambla.

These three routes are those that could be done in the last edition of Rambling that Amics de La Rambla organized at the end of November. Since that day, they are available online for everyone who wants to play in La Rambla learning details of its history.

The three routes propose a walking-game for La Rambla with questions and can be done alone or in a group:

The facades of La Rambla

Travel along the most emblematic avenue of the city, from Plaça de Catalunya to Port Vell, to enjoy an open-air museum. Just need to sharpen your eyesight, find the curiosities that some of the most unique facades of La Rambla present, and discover the secrets they hide. The evidence leads to buildings like the Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona or the Casa dels Paraigües.

La Rambla of the cinema

It is a cinematographic journey through the most famous scenarios of this street. Discover old cinemas that were witnesses to great premieres, hotels where Hollywood actors stayed, and locations of movies filmed on La Rambla. Learn anecdotes and stories that have made this walk a true cinema set.

Characters of La Rambla

It is a route to discover the most iconic characters and artists who have passed through La Rambla and have marked the history of the street. Pass by the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Palau Güell, or the Plaça Reial, where the history of poets, musicians, and actors who have left their mark among squares and streets will be told.

The online routes of Rambling are available on the Amics de La Rambla website

(https://www.amicsdelarambla.cat/cat/rambling/rambling) and have the technological support of the Identify app.
