From October 4 to 12... La Rambla is celebrating its Festa Major.
September 29th. 2025
This year, La Rambla celebrates its Festa Major from October 4th to 12th. Organized by Amics de La Rambla since 1961, La Rambla's Festa Major - Festa del Roser 2025 is an invitation to rediscover La Rambla and enjoy its cultural and leisure offerings.
La Rambla in Bloom
One of the main activities of the festival is the floral decorations that entities, businesses, and residents of La Rambla create in different spaces and buildings along the promenade. This year, decorations will be displayed at "Las Golondrinas" kiosk, Garatge Atarazanas, Santa Mònica, Barcelona Wax Museum, Palau Marc, Passatge Bacardí decorated by Rambla Bacardí Apartments, Tablao Flamenco Cordobés, Centro Galego, the facade of La Rambla 54, Hostal Mare Nostrum, the Joan Miró Mosaic by the Catifaires del Raval, Palau de la Virreina (where the floral action "A flower, a wish" will take place), Palau Moja, CentOnze Restaurant, Poliorama Theater, Moka Restaurant, and La Poma Restaurant. An intervention by the Flower Guild will welcome visitors at La Rambla Canaletes, an activity of the Municipal Institute of Parks and Gardens will be at the beginning of La Rambla dels Estudis, and visitors will be able to explore the gardens of Casa Ignacio de Puig and Ateneu Barcelonès.
Free Activities for Everyone
Aside from flowers, a staple of La Rambla, the festival offers many more activities. Music will be provided by Tablao Flamenco Cordobés, which will hold a free concert for its 55th anniversary, and by the "Amateur" group performing their bright pop at the Conservatori del Liceu's Teatrino. Attendees can also enjoy a Children's Party with Colla Patapum at the Maritime Museum of Barcelona, a Zumba class at CEM Colom, family activities at the Library and Maritime Museum, and free floral art workshops at La Boqueria. The festival will conclude, as every year, with the presentation of the Ramblista d'Honor awards.
3rd edition of the Solidarity Contest "Fem Paelles a La Rambla"
The "Fem paelles a La Rambla," in its 3rd edition, will take place at La Rambla Santa Mònica on Saturday, October 18th. Participants from all over the city will compete to have their paella chosen as the best. You are invited to participate, taste the paellas, vote for your favorite, and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere. The contest is organized by Amics de La Rambla and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, and all funds raised will go towards the Foundation's projects.
