"Impulsem el que fas" grants in the EGA area of La Rambla

Do you have a business, service, or restaurant establishment in the EGA area of La Rambla?

You can now apply for Modality 1C of the Impulsem el que Fas 2026 programme, a grant to help improve the competitiveness of businesses located in High Footfall Areas (Espais de Gran Afluència).

Grant of up to €10,000
It can cover up to 80% of the intervention cost.

Businesses eligible to apply must:

Already be open and operating

Have less than 200 m² of sales or service area

Be a commerce, proximity service, or restaurant

Be located in one of these EGA areas: Sagrada Família, Park Güell, La Rambla and surrounding areas, Turó de la Rovira, Passeig de Gràcia, Casc Antic, Gòtic, or Barceloneta

The grant can be used for:

Renovations, image, decoration, furniture, or branding

Sustainability improvements: LED lighting, efficient air-conditioning, waste reduction

Promotion, visual communication, digital advertising, and social media

Application period: from June 17 to July 17, 2026


MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

Individuals (sole traders) and legal entities with a corporate headquarters, branch office, or workplace in the city of Barcelona.

All applicants must be duly established and operational from the moment of submitting the application.

You must meet at least one of the following two conditions: 1) Have a net annual turnover not exceeding 1,000,000 euros during the highest turnover year between 2024 and 2025. 2) Have a workforce that does not exceed 20 full-time employees at the time of application.

Each modality is subdivided into different sub-modalities and you can only apply for one sub-modality.

Each intervention will have a maximum period of 12 months and must have started in 2026.

Within each sub-modality, there is a catalogue of eligible actions and you may apply for a maximum of 2 interventions.

Access order will be determined by a lottery and therefore, the awarding of the grant will NOT be decided by the order in which applications are submitted, but by the access order established by the lottery.

FUNDING:

The grant can reach a maximum of 80% per application and implies a minimum of 20% co-financing by the beneficiaries.

The maximum grant amount will vary depending on the modality, which in turn will be conditioned by the type of interventions requested. In no case will the maximum grant amount established for each modality be exceeded.

HOW CAN YOU APPLY FOR THE GRANT?

1. Access and registration in the application

Go to the Grant Application platform, sign up, and fully complete the application form in order to automatically generate the corresponding request.

IMPORTANT: You must have already created your personal space on Barcelona Activa and have a company linked before taking this step.
2. Registration of the request
Register the application request, using a digital certificate, at the Virtual Office of Procedures of Barcelona City Council under the process "Impulsem el que fas 2026".
3. Notification by email
Once the application request is registered on the municipal procedures portal, you will receive an email notifying you of the result of your application.


IMPORTANT: This email will not be sent automatically; it may take a few days and it is essential that this is an email you check regularly.

4. Submission of documentation
If your application has been correctly processed, in the same email you will find a link allowing you to access the grant application platform to upload the necessary documentation.
