In memory of Joan Deulofeu Hortal

On July 1st, Joan Deulofeu Hortal passed away.
A tailor by trade, he set up his tailor's shop on Ronda Universitat and soon after opened Deulofeu Hermanos on La Rambla de les Flors.
Joan Deulofeu was president of Amics de La Rambla between 1981 and 1986. His work for the city continued in other commercial and social organizations. He was a founder of Barnacentre (an organization he also served as president of) and participated in other entities such as Amics del Passeig de Gràcia and La Confianza de Barcelona.
Although we only learned of his passing today, from Amics de La Rambla we wish to share this sad news with all of you and remember his work for La Rambla and for the city's commerce.
