Major Festival morning? And an afternoon of rain!

As a precaution and following the recommendations asking us to be prudent, we are obliged to suspend the tribute to Pitarra and the Son de La Rambla concert scheduled for this afternoon.

From the Rebotiga d'en Pitarra, they tell us they will hold the event at the back room on Carrer Avinyó 56. Afterwards, if the rain allows, they will approach the monument to make a floral offering. Everyone is invited.

Festa Major Morning

This morning we were able to carry out our activities as usual... until the rain arrived.

The activities "One Flower, One Wish", the routes along La Rambla, the flower carpet by the Catifaires del Raval and the floral workshop at Palau Moja all took place as planned.

We also enjoyed the traditional walk to see the various Festa Major decorations along La Rambla. Guided by the president of Amics de La Rambla, Àlex Balletbó, and different members of the Board, this year we were joined by: the mayor, Jaume Collboni, the Ciutat Vella councillor, Albert Batlle, the president of the Ciutat Vella Council, Jordi Rabassa, the councillors, Jordi Martí, Damià Calvet and Sònia Devesa, and the Commissioner for the Ciutat Vella Pact, Ivan Pera. Many councillors from the District also joined us: Maria José Arteaga, David Pequeño, Josep de Homdedeu, Sonia Beltran, Cristina Tous, and Esther Miralles, as well as other friends and prominent officials from the Ciutat Vella District and Foment such as Félix Ortega, Àlex Montes, Joan Guillem, Oriol Adserol, Josep Maria Bilurbina, José María Torres, and Espe Busquets.
