Normalization of traffic on La Rambla and new DUM schedule on La Rambla

September 23rd. 2026

On September 29th, the Rambla lane in the downhill direction (towards the sea) will be opened to traffic (restricted to residents, services, and parking).

This will allow Tallers Street to open and the traffic directions of Xuclà and Bonsuccés streets to be restored. The provisional crosswalks in the central part of the promenade will be removed. Buses on line 59, towards Poblenou, will maintain their current route along Via Laietana.

When the permanent route is reinstated, it will be duly communicated. The loading and unloading zones on the downhill lane will be enabled and signposted. Works will continue on the central section of the Rambla.

On the other hand, starting from the 29th there will also be a new DUM schedule on the Rambla. The new schedule will be from 8am to 12pm. Loading and unloading outside these hours is not permitted.
