Restoration of the planter in honor of Mary Santpere

Mary Santpere's planter, in front of the Palau de la Virreina, fell a few months ago. The Barcelona City Council has started the restoration of the planter in tribute to Mary Santpere.
This intervention requires the coordination of Parks and Gardens, Culture, BIMSA, and Endesa, and the following has been agreed:
- Transplanting the plants to small planters in situ before Christmas
- Removal for restoration (cleaning and polishing) of Lluís Archilla's planter before Christmas
- Entry of Endesa to act under the platform beneath the planter
- New foundation to reinstall the planter
- Pavement part by construction
- Reinstallation of the restored planter
- Transplanting the plants to the final planter
Promoted by Friends of La Rambla, the set was designed by Luis Archilla i Teruel and was inaugurated on January 5, 1993.
