This morning, in an event presided over by the first deputy mayor and president of TMB, Laia Bonet, the restoration claimed by Friends of La Rambla for many years has been celebrated. Also present at the event were the president of Friends of La Rambla, Àlex Balletbó, the president of the Gran Teatre del Liceu and Honorary Rambler, Salvador Alemany, the commissioner of the Pact for Ciutat Vella, Ivan Pera, the Councilor of the Ciutat Vella District, María José Arteaga, residents of La Rambla, and representatives of Friends of La Rambla and other institutions on the promenade. Thus, Liceu metro station regains the original appearance of the two entrances to the station in the year of its inauguration, July 5, 1925. During the event, replicas of the two original signs have also been placed, which again mark the station entrances with the names 'Liceu' and 'Gran Metro'.
