The Hotel Royal Ramblas receives the recognition Re Think Hotels

January 27th. 2025

On January 21st, the Hotel Royal Ramblas received, for the second consecutive year, the prestigious Re Think Hotels award.

This recognition places the Hotel Royal Ramblas among the top 10 sustainability and hotel rehabilitation projects. Specifically, the award recognizes the work done in the recent renovation of the Hotel Royal Ramblas, a project that has integrated innovative solutions that maximize energy savings and strengthen the hotel's commitment to the environment.

The award was collected by Daniel Orobitg, Director of HR and Quality, and by Alberto Sintes, Commercial and Marketing Director of Royal Hotels, on behalf of the entire Royal Hotels team that is contributing to the development of the best sustainability practices and was presented by Xavier Suñol, Director of Tourism at the Barcelona City Council.

The Re Think Hotel Competition, created in 2014 by the Habitat Futura group and the TSMEDIA digital platform, aims to promote the application of sustainability and rehabilitation criteria in hotels. The award is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the Spanish Office for Climate Change, the Institute for Energy Diversification and Savings, and the Responsible Tourism Institute.
