Videos to (Re)discover La Rambla XIII. Maritime Museum of Barcelona

With this series of videos, we want to invite you to (Re)Discover La Rambla. Our aim is to bring you closer to institutions, historic businesses, attractions, traditions...

This thirteenth video is dedicated to the Maritime Museum of Barcelona.

The Maritime Museum of Barcelona is a space for the interpretation and dissemination of Catalan maritime culture in an innovative, participatory, and approachable manner for both society and the region, through research, conservation, and safeguarding of heritage.

The Museum aims to be a reference institution for Mediterranean maritime culture, open and accessible to all of society, and cooperative with people and organizations.

The Museum strives for excellence in heritage management, knowledge creation, and education, with the mission of acting as a driver of social and regional progress in its environment, from the perspective of the relationship between Catalonia and its people with the sea, which is what makes the Maritime Museum of Barcelona unique compared to other maritime-themed museums.

For many generations of people from Barcelona, the Museum is a gateway to maritime culture.

The "(Re)Discover La Rambla Videos" are part of the project "La Rambla, a New Model of Urban Tourism" with which Amics de La Rambla wants to invite you to stroll along La Rambla, to get to know it better, and to love it. The project is supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona City Council, and GetYourGuide.
